The foundation

of the program.

The Lift Project began with a simple realization.

After years of working closely with children, families, and educators, we saw something consistent.

The Challenge is clear.

Capable, curious children wanted to succeed.

Families cared deeply about education.

But sustained academic support (and even basic school supplies) were often financially out of reach.

When support is missing, students navigate challenges alone.

Over time, confidence declines. Motivation fades. Identity as a learner weakens.

Our response is intentional.

Rooted in community values and informed by hands-on experience, The Lift Project provides:

Structured weekend academic support.

Access to essential school supplies.

A consistent and encouraging learning environment.

Math

English

Homework

Students attend structured Saturday sessions that include:

A community where every child has the support and tools they need to learn and grow with confidence.

To remove financial barriers to academic support and resources so every child can move forward with confidence and possibility.

VISION

MISSION

Who we support

Students needing additional academic support

Families facing financial barriers to tutoring

Children in Grades 1–11

Our program is designed to support:

Children and families who need access to structured academic support but face financial or transitional challenges.

How the program works.

SATURDAYS

OPEN HOURS

The centre is open for three hours each Saturday, supporting multiple students each week.

GROUP SESSIONS

Each child attends a focused one-hour session per week, ensuring structure and consistency.

Sessions take place in small groups within a calm and encouraging environment. Children are supported at their own pace, without pressure, with a focus on building understanding, confidence, and long-term growth.

Our academic support focuses on

Math skill development.

English reading, writing, and comprehension.

Homework understanding & completion.

Building positive learning habits & confidence.

Alongside academic sessions, students may receive school supplies to support their learning at home and in school.
